i had the pleasure of working with piper at the BBS SF HQ in march. she gracefully outfitted a bamboo bike frame with wheels, brakes, handlebar, crank, peddles, etc. working on an instructional video so that students who build their frames at the studio can complete their bikes in the comfort of their own space at a later time.
